Pelham, Alabama: man sentenced for running counterfeit check cashing scheme

As reported by Gadsdentimes.com, a man has been sentenced for leading a counterfeit check scheme that used homeless men to cash checks in Alabama and Georgia. A U.S. District Court judge sentenced Charles Henry Ross to 51 months in prison on charges of aggravated identity theft and bank fraud. The judge also ordered Ross to pay $3,662 in restitution.
