Maryland: Duo charged with passing counterfeit bills at Ocean City Beach

As reported by Wbal.com police in Ocean City have charged two Maryland men with passing fake money at the beach. According to police, 25-year-old Derrick Richardson of Parsonsburg and 26-year-old Justin Scanlon of Ocean City are charged with theft, knowingly issuing counterfeit US currency, and conspiracy. Woman scams former football player claiming cancer

A 41-year-old Pikesville woman was ordered Wednesday to stand trial March 10 on charges that she obtained $10,000 from Mike Flynn, the former Ravens player, by fraudulently claiming that she was dying of cancer. It is the second such case to be tried in Baltimore County in a year. Read Article
