Tunisia: Jihadist arrested at airport after being deported from Egypt on counterfeit passport charges

Masarwy.com reported that police officers at the Tunisia/Carthage International Airport arrested a Tunisian Salafi extremist who was recently deported by Egyptian authorities, after he was found guilty of forging passports to support terrorist activities by allowing extremist fighters to enter Egypt illegally, according to France Presse. Damascus: Syrian rebels seize large number of counterfeit Jordanian passports

On March 7 2013, Syrian rebels broadcasted a video on Youtube showing items seized at one of the headquarters of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command of Ahmed Jibril’s in Damascus, The video shows Syrian rebel leaders next to a large number of counterfeit Jordanian passports and a printing machine. Mumbai: Crime Intelligence Unit investigates two suspects for counterfeiting and funding terrorist organizations

As reported in Mumbaimirror.com the Mumbai Crime Branch and central intelligence agencies are investigating two south Mumbai residents for their suspected role in counterfeiting and funding terrorist activities. The police found fake currency in their possession when they arrested the two from a south-central Mumbai lodge on January 16. Read Article
