Virginia: Mount Vernon Police warn of counterfeit $20s in circulation

As reported by Thesouthern.com a handful of counterfeit $20 bills have been circulating in Mount Vernon in recent days, according to an alert issued by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Wednesday morning. At least 12 fake bills have been reported to the chamber since the weekend. The incidents have been reported to both the Mount Vernon Police Department, as well as the United State’s Secret Service.
