Philippines: High concerns over the use of counterfeit pesticides on Vietnamese rice

As reported by Abs-cbnnews.com a lawyer engaged in reducing counterfeit pesticides worldwide has warned Filipinos that they may suffer from health problems if they eat rice from Vietnam and Thailand, since illegal pesticides are used in rice farms in these countries. The warning came days after the Vietnam Food Association said Hanoi will export 187,000 tons of 25-percent broken rice (fractured rice grains) to the Philippines between April and June.
