Romanian sentenced 30 years for sexual exploitation, human smuggling in Spain

After a lengthy investigation by Romanian and Spanish authorities, Romanian Ion Clamparu was sentenced to prison for thirty years on February 20, 2012. He was found guilty in Spain for five counts of sexual exploitation. The defendant was part of a large network of human smugglers for sexual exploitation between Romania and Spain. Read Article
