Transnational crime syndicate on trial transporting drugs from Iran through Europe and destined for Japan

Five Romanian citizens, members of a drug trafficking network were sent to trial on March 28, 2012 according to romanialibera.ro. The defendants were arrested with 65 kilos of methamphetamines with a value of 6.600.000 euros, drugs that were supposed to sell in Japan and were transported on the route Iran-Turkey-Bulgaria-Romania-Japan.
