Saudia Arabia: Reported counterfeit goods seizures up sixty-five percent for 2012

Arabnews.com reported that counterfeit and adulterated goods worth SR 763 million were seized in 2012, an increase of 65.2 percent compared to the number of goods seized in the previous year, the Department of Customs director general announced.Salih Al-Khilaiwi, speaking at a press conference at the Ministry of Finance yesterday, said the Department of Customs is exerting strenuous efforts to ban entry of counterfeit and adulterated goods.
