21 people were arrested in Hunedoara on Monday 27th of February, for tax fraud and money laundering exceeding 20 million euros. Victor Teodorescu attorney from Brasov, RO was sentenced to 25 years in prison for paying Ervin Victor Presmereanu to murder his wife. The motive behind the murder was a sum of 150,000 EU insurance money. The victim, Violeta Teodorescu was stabbed to death on March 29, 2011. The murderer, Presmereanu received a 16 year sentence. Adrian Toma, secretary chief of the Census Register, died of heart attack when he heard his subordinates are under investigation for falsifying Romanian passports to citizens of Republic of Moldova.
