As reported by Mcall.com a man and a woman have been charged with forgery and other crimes for allegedly using counterfeit $50 bills to play table games at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem Friday night. State Police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement said Eduardo Sicard Martinez, 36 of Wernersville presented the bogus bills to the dealers at the table games and that Yadira Torres, 36, of Allentown admitted that she had knowledge of and worked with Martinez in the counterfeiting scheme. Pennsylvania: Police investigate counterfeit money incident at Wrightstown gas station

As reported by Newtown-pa.patch.com police are investigating an incident in which a man tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for gas at a service station on Windy Bush Road in Wrightstown. According to Newtown Township Police, around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, an employee of the gas station called police to report that a man had attempted to pay for $10 worth of fuel with a counterfeit $100 bill. Two men walked up to a Schuylkill County home Thursday afternoon and distracted the elderly couple who lived there while a third man slipped into the house and stole $6,000, police said.

The 3:45 p.m. burglary at the Luckenbill house on Heather Lane, Pine Grove Township, was similar to incidents the day before and 60 miles east in Lower Saucon and Upper Saucon townships, where two men targeted elderly residents, but got away with nothing. Read Article
