Lebanon: Airport security in Beirut seize illegal “Captagon” pills

According to Dailystar.com.lb security forces foiled attempts to smuggle nearly 16 kg of illegal pills out of Lebanon via Rafik Hariri International Airport, a statement by the Internal Security Forces announced Tuesday. A Syrian was apprehended Monday with 10.3 kg of Captagon pills packed inside pastries in place of their filling. California: Temecula Police arrest duo involved in property scam

As reported by Pe.com two men were arrested Friday, April 5, after an investigation found that they changed the locks of a vacant home in the 32000 block of Ritter Court in Temecula and falsely represented themselves as the managers of the property, authorities reported. Temecula police officers arrived at the home after a caller reported suspicious activity. Their investigation resulted in the arrest of Matthew Sinay, 23, and Brent Perry, 27, on suspicion of trespassing, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, according to a news release. Bristol, England: two men sentenced for passing counterfeit bills

According to Bedminsterpeople.co.uk Russell Bennett and Brennan Hartrey admitted fraud by misrepresentation, after conspiring to possess counterfeit bank notes with intent to tender. The total value of the notes was £15,000. Bennett, aged 19, of Summerhill and Hartrey, aged 22, of Loxton Avenue were given sentences at Bristol Crown Court of two years, four months and three years, ten months respectively. Read Article
