According Newsinsurance.co.uk Tariq Mehmood was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Harrow Crown Court on Friday (25 January 2013) for conspiracy to defraud and dangerous driving. Ansab Rizwan and Ihtisham Gondal received suspended sentences and 180 hours of unpaid work each for their parts in the scam, whilst Nasser Khan received a 12 month community order and 100 hours unpaid work. Victor Teodorescu attorney from Brasov, RO was sentenced to 25 years in prison for paying Ervin Victor Presmereanu to murder his wife. The motive behind the murder was a sum of 150,000 EU insurance money. The victim, Violeta Teodorescu was stabbed to death on March 29, 2011. The murderer, Presmereanu received a 16 year sentence.
